Profil : K-ranklou Hip-Hop du Cap-Haïtien
La musique est une source agréable qui soulage les coeurs atristés. Et c'est ainsi que Pierre Andy dit (Lil P), Moscova Mively Rugguerry dit (Mo-69) et Roméus Evens dit (E 20's) se réunissent dans l'initiative de fonder un groupe Hip-Hop.
Après plusieurs grandes réflexions, ils ont décidé de nommer leur groupe K-ranklou Hip-Hop, c'était le 28-09-06 en Haïti dans la deuxième ville du pays au Cap-Haïtien au 125,rue 9F. Pour réaliser leur mouvement, ils avaient fait appel à sept autres talentieux de leur quartier; on trouve : Petit-Homme Ronald dit (Rondy-P), Moscova Anchly Loudwige dit (H.I), Brutus Richardson dit (Patou), Jean Baptiste Daniel dit (Captaine Chifonnen), Jean François Junior dit (Mister Junior), Rosemey dit (Impact-G) et Thony Frandy dit (Tony-one). Ils ont un seul objectif, réchausser le rap créole dans leur ville. Et plus tard en Octobre , ils ont crée un comité: Présidente: Brutus Rachelle, Secrétaire: Desamour Judeline, Conseiller: J.C. Henry Claude, Tresaurier: Thony Frandy, Maestro: Moscova Anchly Loudwige, et ensuite Manager Roméus Evens.
En Décembre nos deux beat makers (Mively et Anchly) ont crée un beat pour la première musique de K-ranklou qui s'appelle ''Nwèl mizè'' (Noel Misère); plus tard en Janvier pour la période carnavalesque, ils ont mis à jour leur deuxième musique titrée:''Gade m' nan je m'ap gade w' nan je'', en Mars:''Ki sa w' ye'', en Mai:''Kage''.
Tous ceux qui ont le monopole refusent de les sponsoriser, ce qui empêche la sortie de leur premier album, car leur moyen est trop faible pour y arriver.Ils n'ont pas perdu le courage, puisqu'ils ont trouvé des gens qui sont hors de la ville qui les ont invités à jouer dans leur commune et les habitants ont été très impressionné par leur préstation.''Ils sont différent dans leurs styles.'' <>: c'étaient les déclarations des gens qui les écoutaient et K-ranklou était fortement apprécié.
Lors de la grande fête de la ville (en 2007),ils n'ont pas été autorisé à y participer,tandis que c'était tout le contraire pour ceux qui venait de la capitale et qui ont déjà leur popularité.
Ils savent que dans leur ville rien n'est facile, mais en dépit de tout, ils ont foie qu'un jour ils arriveront au sommet, parce que dans la définition de K-ranklou Hip-Hop: ils sont les maître du Hip-Hop et leurs beats peuvent faire danser qui que ce soit.

Wyclef Jean Promotes Youth Programs
PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti
(AP) — Wyclef Jean has announced the creation of several youth-based programs funded by his Yele Haiti charity.
"If you want to change a country, unfortunately, you're not going to be able to help 8 million people at one time," the 35-year-old singer told reporters. "But if you can get one or two or three and start to make that change, that will make the difference."
Jean, who was born in Haiti, arrived Saturday in Port-au-Prince. It was his first visit since being named a roving ambassador for the Caribbean nation in January.
Yele Haiti will provide computer labs, classrooms and counseling for jailed child gang members, help local women's groups sell food in the seaside slum of Cite Soleil, and establish a youth scholarship and soccer program, Jean said.
Jean, who wore a white linen jacket with Haiti's shield embroidered in sparkling stones, spoke to reporters mostly in Creole.

La fête des Guédés à Rapforum
PAP/HAITI -- Rapforum n'est pas resté indifférent à la fête des Guédés, qui est non seulement une fête religieuse mais un grand moment d'expression de la Culture haïtienne. En effet, pour la Toussaint et la fête des Guédés, l'ambiance à Rapforum est placée sous le signe des Guédés avec un décor réalisé par Ornella et des animations durant toute la période.
